January Monthly Arts Networking Meeting @ Zoom Videoconferencing
Jan 3 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Dream-like Autumn scene of the forest with fog at night. For the December art challenge "Dreams."

Theme Challenge: Dreams

Join us at the January Monthly meeting of  Arts Alliance of Stratford. Meet and network with other local creative people.

The December/January challenge is Dreams.

Dreams are your goals, aspirations and fears. When you dream, implausible and impossible things can happen. People and places from your current and past life mingle in your dream reality. This gives you plenty to work with for this art challenge.

You can use the etherial photo of night fog in the forest as a starting point to make it your own (download your own copy from pixabay.com), or follow your own inspiration and create something new and unexpected.

Grab your paints, pencils, writing pad or other creative implements and make something inspired based on Dreams Use the theme to create something unique. Follow your imagination where it takes you.

The challenge is open to visual art, writing, poetry, music or performance.

Each month the challenge theme is announced at the end of the monthly meeting. The finished challenge work will be presented at the following meeting.

February Monthly Arts Networking Meeting @ Zoom Videoconferencing
Feb 7 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

A photo of a lake and dock covered by snow in the winter.

Theme Challenge: Snow

Join us at the February Monthly meeting of  Arts Alliance of Stratford. Meet and network with other local creative people.

The January/February challenge is Snow.

For those of us living in the northeast of the USA, snow is an inevitable part of Winter. Snow can be a nuisance when you have to clear it from your driveways and walkways or a gift for students when it means a snow day. When it first falls, snow makes everything look new. You can roll the snow into the body parts of a snowman and on a sled with good runners, you can go down a hill at a good clip. We have to live with snow this time of year, so we might as well let it inspire our creativity.

You can use the photo of the snow-covered lake and dock as a starting point to make it your own (download your own copy from pixabay.com), or follow your own inspiration and create something new and unexpected.

Grab your paints, pencils, writing pad or other creative implements and make something inspired based on Snow. Use the theme to create something unique. Follow your imagination where it takes you.

The challenge is open to visual art, writing, poetry, music or performance.

Each month the challenge theme is announced at the end of the monthly meeting. The finished challenge work will be presented at the following meeting.
