December Monthly Arts Networking Meeting
Theme Challenge: Family
Join us at the November Monthly meeting of Arts Alliance of Stratford. Meet and network with other local creative people.
The November/December challenge is Family.
Family is a word with many meanings. It can be a group of people related by blood or marriage. It can also describe a category of related items. Family can be supportive, get under your skin or be estranged. Family is something you are born into or an unrelated group of people from whom you feel accepted. Considering its many meanings, this leaves lots of room for interpretation.
You can use the mother goose and her signets photo as a starting point to make it your own (download your own copy from pixabay.com), or follow your own inspiration and create something new and unexpected.
Grab your paints, pencils, writing pad or other creative implements and make something inspired based on Family Use the theme to create something unique. Follow your imagination where it takes you.
The challenge is open to visual art, writing, poetry, music or performance.
Each month the challenge theme is announced at the end of the monthly meeting. The finished challenge work will be presented at the following meeting.
