Intro to iPad Painting

Description: In this class, students will learn the basics of sketching and painting using the Procreate app. Subjects will include still life, landscape, and abstract painting. This class is geared for both new students and those who have already taken Raheem’s November’s Intro to iPad class, as it will cover new ground but still at a beginning level.
Supplies needed:
- iPad: iPad 2018 and newer, iPad Air, iPad Pro
- iPad pencil: Apple brand or 3rd party brand
- Procreate App: ($9.99 on the App Store)
Please note: This class will take place on Zoom. Have the Zoom app downloaded onto your device and become familiar with using it prior to the first class. Preferably be connected to zoom on a device other than the iPad that you will be using to draw.
About the instructor
Raheem Nelson is a classically trained cartoonist and illustrator based in New Haven. He received his education at ECA and School of Visual Arts. His clients include Apple, Ambient Design, Sony, The Tie Bar and The International Festival of Arts and Ideas. He have been teaching art for over 10 years.
