Online (Zoom) Workshop

Beginner: ages 18+

Description: In this class students will learn the basics of sketching and painting using the Procreate app. Subjects will include still life, landscape and abstract painting.

Supplies needed: 

  • iPad: iPad 2018 and newer, iPad Air, iPad Pro
  • iPad pencil: Apple brand or 3rd party brand
  • Procreate App: ($9.99 on the App Store)

Please note: This class will take place on Zoom. Have the Zoom app downloaded onto your device and become familiar with using it prior to the first class.

About the instructor

Raheem NelsonRaheem Nelson is a classically trained cartoonist and illustrator based in New Haven. He received his education at ECA and School of Visual Arts. His clients include Apple, Ambient Design, Sony, The Tie Bar and The International Festival of Arts and Ideas. He have been teaching art for over 10 years.
