November Arts Networking Meeting
The November theme challenge is Pumpkins.
November’s meeting will be Online only.
Join us at the November Monthly meeting of Arts Alliance of Stratford. Meet and network with other local creative people.
Theme prompt:
Pumpkins
- the fruit/vegetable,
- the Halloween decoration,
- the food ingredient in breads, muffins, pies, soups,
- the color ‘pumpkin’ orange,
- the prop in literature (The Legend of Sleepy Hollow’)
- and the game of Pumpkin Toss (launching old pumpkins with a catapult) and making boats from giant ones!
Pumpkins make it through November in recipes (like George Washington’s Pumpkin Pie made in a real pumpkin) and decorations on the Thanksgiving table.
And of course the neighborhood squirrels can’t resist them.
Use the photo of the pumpkin patch as a starting point as your starting point.
The challenge is open to visual art, writing, poetry, music or performance.
Each month the challenge theme is announced at the end of the monthly meeting. The finished challenge pieces will be presented at the next monthly meeting.
