Prospectus

The Alliance invited artists from the region to share their interpretation of the theme “Inspired by…“

Have you ever been moved by a picture, film, song, dance, the written word, or even a news event? Has it called you to action, activism or to create a piece of visual, performance or written art?

For this show, we asked community artists to submit entries inspired by something that elicited an emotion. Each title card includes who, what, where or why the artist was driven to create their piece; in other words, what they were inspired by.

A “People’s Choice” award will be selected by visitors among the works in the gallery by ballot. The winner of the Peoples’ Choice vote will receive free entry into the next show. Be sure to fill out a ballot of your favorite piece in the show.
